Door locks won't open using any switch

The door lock switch will lock the doors but will not
unlock the doors I can use my remote on my key to
unlock them but it will not unlock the doors from
any switch not the driver side and not the
passenger side I have to use the remote to unlock
them and I can't figure out what the problem is

OK what type of car,what year, what make, and most in portend, is it aftermarket locking system or original. Let me know. I can help.

2005 Ford Explorer sport trec... it’s all original, I’m assuming, I don’t know what aftermarket means
