4X4 control module. It is located behind the glove box or the plastic panel at your right foot on the passenger side. Disconnect the battery first. Disconnect the control module and look at the terminals inside for rust or corrosion. Clean and put electrical grease on them and reconnect. See if it works correctly. If not replace it and make sure to disconnect the battery before you install the new one.
