do you here the fuel pump humming when keyswitch is first turned on,if not bad FP.

check to see if the fuel pump switch is on. its most likey on the pass. side front kick panel if you have one. its a pressure switch which means if you hit something pretty hard it will switch to off postion. if its a diesel don't use starter fluid use wd40 it wont hurt the motor as bad.
