transmission replacement

Asked by wgs2385 Sep 29, 2019 at 02:20 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the transmission recently went out in my 2003 chevy blazer 2wd suv and we
replaced it with a newer used transmission out of a totaled vehicle with the
same kind of transmission.  we successfully replaced the transmission and the
car runs however when accelerating to 50mph the car gets a little jumpy
(sways forward and backward) and the rpm gauge also moves up and down.
thought about replacing the filter, gasket, solenoids and fluid but just wanted
to know if anyone knows if this would help?
