right rear door will not open from inside or outside all other functions normal

door fob and auto locks all operate normally  there was a fairly load " thump" when it
closed and stopped opening   window operates normally  How do I take door trim off with
the door closed?

My five cents be as gentle as possible... Its a bummer when that happens But needs to be fixed so the cover has to come off.
