Can you take the air ride bags off a 2000 Mercedes Benz s class and put regular struts on?

You can - but it would not be a good idea. You would lose the handling and ride characteristics of how it was made. Go to www.arnottinc.com and there you will find what you need at a fraction of Mercedes cost. Also, they will give you a lifetime warranty. Mercedes only warranties parts for one year.
