cant get the a\c to work..

i think it all started wene i forgot to tighten down the batter down and wene i came to a stop it shorted out wene it touched the frame it killed the battery dead nothing, i had it towed to my house and went and got a brand new battery put it in and it started rite up i was so happy nothing fried.. but the a\c didnt work , i took it in and my buddy tested the blower and it worked then he tested the compresore and it worked but it kept blowing fuses under the hud the number 20 fuse. he said ther was a dead short some ware. wene you are in the car and turn on the a\c u can here the compresore kick on but no blower. do you have any sugestions on what i should do? at least point me in the rite direction.. please help me

Hi muchlater, This could be a short anywhere in the electrical system. I would simply follow the leads from the compressor and blower to the fuse box and make sure nothing fried. Then I would take apart the fuse box and find out if the box itself isn't causing the problem. Hope this helps!
