thanks...good site..but we did manage to remove the alternator as follows: 1) losened the bolt for spring loaded ideler 2) put strong arm wrench in ideler slot and removed tension on belt and removed belt 3) removed alternator bolts (not all all easy!!!) 4) Removed battery and battery case to allow room(also had to unbuckle horns to get at bolt) 5) got alternator in position to remove electrical wiring alternator is in shop for repair..will tell you if all turns out well..thanks again (not an easy project!!!)
