What kind of problems will make a 2004
chevy trailblazer not go into gear

If the trany works, then there is a shift interlock on there where you step on the brake pedal to release it. A lot of times a wire will brake, or the shift inter-lock solenoid itself is bad, and it is tied into the brake light switch down on the brake pedal.
