Random misfire code p0300

Asked by Jamie Mar 02, 2022 at 12:25 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Chevy trailblazer
LT with 215 thousand
miles, I replaced battery, 3
sensors, spark plugs,
dropped and cleaned fuel
tank, changed fuel filter,
oil and filter and it runs
better til I let off
accelerator and it starts
to misfire again and
sounds like it's
suffocating for air or gas.

Sounds like it's time for you to take it to a shop that can do live data testing and see what shows up.

Spark plug wires or a failing ignition coil. But given the age and mileage of the vehicle it could be a number of things. Taking it to a shop will save you money in the long run. Jim
