2004 Chevy trailblazer

just bought it today. Turned the heat on and went
to put it on defrost from dash and floor heater.
When I did that the truck started acting lije it was  
going to cut off.

Not to worry, it's actually a very common problem. Disconnect fuses # 10 and #28 under the hood. Then remove your throttle body (4 bolts), clean front and back with a sensor safe spray like Seafoam with a toothbrush or rag. After it's clean, hook all back up, will be solved. Clean that throttle body at least once a year. Yes you can re-use the little plastic O-ring many times over.
