2004 chevy trailblazer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Won't shift out of second gear, 1st gear, 2nd gear,
and reverse work fine but 3rd and D just rev RPMs
once it shifts out of 2nd.

There's 134k miles, I regularly change oil and keep up on basic maintenance. The tranny fluid cooling line wore out and I replaced the line after it pissed fluid everywhere about 4 months back, the fluid levels are normal. Idk what the hell!....

It's possible that your transmission is failing, should not have accelerated RPMs in any gear...... let us know. I would have it professionally looked at.
