Why radio won't work after battery replacement

Asked by Hannah Mar 29, 2016 at 04:53 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Tracker 4-Door 4WD

Question type: General

I recently replaced the battery in my 2004 Chevy
tracker. But all of a sudden the radio won't turn on.
It is an after market radio so it's not the original.
The radio is a Panasonic. Not time no sound.

It could be that he radio has an anti theft code that has been programmed into it. You may have to return the radio to a Panasonic deal to have the code erased. You might try Googling about erasing codes.

There is usually a reset code Hannah, you'll have to go to dealer for it, but helped me a out a lot. Hope this helps.
