'93 2.3 engine have the CKP crankshaft position sensor checked supplies the signal to the PCM vehicles compute which controls spark ignition. I can only speculate with check the vehicle, kind of common issue on these. Multimeter or oscilloscope for testing most times no DTC code for CKP.
