Why is my car Overheating?

Asked by John Oct 10, 2020 at 03:06 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've changed water pump, thermostat,
radiator, radiator cap, and fan fluid level
good, no leaks, temp guage goes to lil
above half way point. Never overheats
all the way but gets hot enough that ac
stops blowing cold.

No but the ac is very cold until temp guage hits halfway, then it starts blowing warm.

I live in the mojave desert. Summertime temps can reach 115 + and I've still never had a car run this hot all the time
