A few electric issues in 2004 Chevy Cavalier, easy fix?

Asked by Haley Sep 09, 2018 at 07:44 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Chevy cavalier that blows the fuse every time I want to use the
windshield wiper fluid switch. The wind shield wipers work just fine, its just
when I pull the lever forward for the fluid. Its the fuse as once it blows the
wipers done work at all and the fuse is black. I will switch it out and they will
work just fine.

Also the head light recently went out. I turn my lights on and drove for about
10 minutes then one went out. My check engine light went on and so I pulled
over and the only thing I could find wrong was the light. I replaced the bulb
and the check engine light shut off, but now my left light wont work. It glows
very faintly but not enough to work at all.

Could they be related? they happened several months apart.
