i own a 2004 chevy cavalier 2.2 ecotec. car will not start. bought new battery for it and it turns over but will not stay runnin. help me

Could be fuel pump, fuel pump relay, etc. Need to have this checked out by a mechanic.

Definatly sounds like the pump, Try hitting on the bottom of the tank while someone is cranking it, if it starts its the pump.

when your car starts to cut off do the lights and everthying electrical dim any or does it just start sputtering and then die

william is stuck on an alternator....if a new battery was installed,the vehicle would run with a bad alternator....listen to the other guys and have that fuel pump checked out....

most likely is the fuel pump.. try throwing one at it and see if it fixes it
