Why would my tundra have a vibrationin it at speeds of 40-55 mph

My truck has 47000 miles on it and has a vibration that felt in the seat and console, with very minor shake in steering wheel. I have had 3 different sets of tires on this truck in a month and have 5 different places to balance them including the road force balances, now I"am told it is the rear tire that bad. In all of the tires changed one continual to to have 7 to 10 oz. of weight on the same rim could it be the alumium rim that bad even though i have been told it is not.

Hi blackkeenkeen! It's amazing that given the sets of tires that you can't eliminate that as a cause. You have to be suspect of the rim at this point and you need to see if you can try a known good set of rims/tires to help verify or eliminate those possibilities. If the tires and rims are ruled out the next thing to check is axle although any problem there would be felt to different degrees at all speeds. After that it's drive train and perhaps motor mounts ...The first thing is to eliminate where the rubber meets the road however. Good luck!

if ballance was spin and told is good it is you may have bent axel flange at rear ,lift truck up and spin wheel and see for yourself what the hell is going on here dammit
