Grinding in reverse

Asked by Alexander May 17, 2016 at 08:25 AM about the 1994 Toyota Tercel 2 Dr STD Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While in reverse and moving my 94 tercel begins to
make a dry kind of grinding noise from the front
end. No issues going into reverse or driving
normally but backing up causes this noise. I'm
thinking it may be low tranny fluid but that's just a
shot in the dark.
