I have a toyta t-100 sr5. It will start up and run perfectly for a period of about 30 seconds then shut off as iff the ignition were turned off, a minute later it will restart only to quit again, why?

It wa not anything complex. It was the crankshaft sensor which failed. The ECU reads camshaft and allows the engine to start and run, 30 seconds later it reads the crankshaft sensor..
