1996 Toyota T100. Running fine this morning. After work, engine turns but wont start

Battery has plenty of charge. truck makes normal starting sounds but will not start.

fuel , starved/ bad gas/ clogged filters? ; crankshaft sensor? those would be my first guesses

Ok it took me a while but i have a 3.4 T100 and the starting issue drove me nuts for a while but finally i found the wires going from harness down to crank sensor when moved while cranking started truck, so for those days it ran and others it didnt run, its just a bad kinked wire that eventually gave poor contact. Replace near alternator all the way to sensor.

Delmond Good job of trouble shooting. Yeah the crank sensor can be the solution to many starting /running problems (It was on mine a while back too)
