My husband claims the Toyota Sienna manual states that the donut tire can be used for 3000 miles; we have a 2004 model.
If that is what the manual says then you can. Have him show you. I personally would not drive more than 10 or 20 miles on one of those things.
the recomended milage is 50 miles stated in the manual
The spare it to get you from where you are stranded to a tire shop or garage. I see too many people nowadays driving on them at highway speed and extended timeframes, not safe.
Drive slowly - not more than 50 mph and don't speed around any corners or expect to stop on a dime.
he just showed it to me in the manual... I can't believe it - he was right. That's what it states - up to 3,000 miles altogether as it can be used over and over again. I do hope we'll never need it!!! Thank you all for your input!
