2000 Sienna Moon Roof Drain clog

Asked by peased Sep 10, 2023 at 06:35 PM about the 2000 Toyota Sienna LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Both my moon rood drains are clogged and causing water to drip on the seats. I
cannot get a wire all the way through. It will go about 5 feet then stop. Can
someone tell me where the end of the hose comes out under the body.

The drains run down the A pillars that flank the windshield and exit beneath the van behind the front wheels. You'll find two tubes exiting the floor and that's where you push in a wire, screwdriver, or a drill mounted cleaner device to break up the clog. At five feet, you're fortunate because most of the clogs happen near the windshield and start staining the interior near the headliner.
