2005 Chevy Equinox ac issue. get cold and will stay cold. but if in traffic or on for a while car over heats. have checked all things that i have read upon. and still have the issue. any suggetions.

You can try spraying out the radiator and A.C condenser with a garden hose and nozzle they may be clogged with dirt and bugs restricting air flow causing your over heating.
