Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2003 Toyota Rav 4 with Luggage Racks. Each time my wife takes it to a car wash, 2 sections below the crossbars are left uncleaned. The car wash blames Toyota for the POOR DESIGN. Can anyone give some directions as to who or where I can have the Crossbars removed; Toyota refuses to do so .

their should be 4 tourx screws at each end of rails, but if you remove it their is going to be 8 holes in the roof.heck with a car wash, wash it yourself, get a cleaner vehicle, dont cost nothing.

Wow “papa” you are a moron. Trying to tell people what to do but don’t even know what you are talking about yourself. This person clearly said the cross bars not the entire roof rails which is what would leave the holes.
