Check relay first ,then check fuel pump.

I had similar issues happening with my 1995 Toyota pickup 3.0 automatic. When it was cold it would start and run for about 10 or 15 minutes than it would die. I was able to get it to restart but would die as soon as i put it in gear. Long story short it ended up being some wires on the main wire harness. Metal rubbed through the plastic protector and would ground the wire and cause it to die. Hope this helps some of you out there with similar problems.
