1990 toyota pick up auto 22re

My truck was running just fine the last couple
years I've had it when I stop at a light down the
street from my house was running fine had power
all the way around I step on the gas and I just felt
something let go not like it was grinding but my
engine was running perfectly fine and my
transmission has no more power I'm baffled don't
know what to do somebody help any advice would
be helpful thank you

Something in your drive train quit. It could be a lot of things. It might just be a U joint but the grinding indicates something worse.
