My Toyota land cruiser 2000 brakes itself ?? intermittently and the vsc light
comes on along with a high pitched

Most times that is related to a fault in the ABS system or a wheel sensor. Have the vehicle scanned for the trouble codes to help you find the exact issue.

It is possible to check all the sensors one by one and how many sensors have. I understand that one per wheel but also have some other?
