I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla has 220660 miles on
it are burned through 5 quarts of oil in about a
week and continuously blows white smoke

It is done, get rid of it.

These engines burn oil if not well maintained. Piston oil return holes most likely clogged, could be fixed but probably not worth it unless you can do it yourself.
