Question type: General

I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla I got a oil
change about 2,000 miles ago I went and
looked at it right after the two thousand mile
mark and it had barely any oil there's no
milky substance in the coolant and it's not
leaking had to add 3 quarts for it to be up to
the level not sure what to do and how much
is this fixed if it's the piston rings or if it's
something else can you please tell me

1 Answer

The engine is probably worn which would require a new engine or s rebuild. Check your oil level at every fill up. Try using a heavier grade of oil such as 10W40.
