Without knowing anything at all about it I would estimate the trade in at less than a grand.
In a case like this a trade in is more of a shell game. Whatever they "give" you is coming out of the higher price you paid for the new car.
Sell it. Odds are you can get a lot more from a person who needs cheap transportation.
