car shuts off when driving

97 Toyota corolla,manual.  keeps
shutting off. replaced distributor cap.  
car does start after ten minutes or so.

Yep, this Corolla 1997 was the last year of the 7A FE --1.8L and the ignition module in this car is in the distributor and you can buy a Cardone distributor brand new from Amazon for Under $120

Idk what is meant by the entire module? are there multiple components? what I see is a big piece that has four plugs connected to the four openings on top the engine head, is this an accurate description of the module ur referring to? B.C. this is what I replaced yet it's still shutting off, could it be a labor installation error or faulty part, what are ur thoughts. ...Ty for ur replies.
