Installed headlight bulb won't work; suggestions?

Asked by kohakubara Sep 26, 2010 at 08:01 PM about the 1996 Toyota Corolla DX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just installed a new headlight bulb on the right headlight, but when I tested the headlights afterwards, the light didn't work. I actually was sold the 9006 bulb and had tried that one by mistake, and went and got the right bulb (which is the 9005).. but still nothing. Wondering if I have an electrical problem now.. any suggestions/help would be appreciated!!

Wrong bulb may have popped a fuse. Toyota fuses left and right sides. Check those and check grounds to each fender skirt Good Luck
