I had a similar situation on a 2008 jetta. and the problem turned out to be the car computer and air sensors the easiest and most economic thing i could do was sell it. when ever something minor goes wrong in my car i take it to Fire Stone and they haven't done me wrong yet if its something more complex a specialized garage might be able to help
