I pulled the fuse for my horn because the alarm goes when you open the door.

Asked by jdean Mar 19, 2012 at 02:56 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I put a fuse back in it, the horn didn't work at all. I need my horn so I can get my brake tag, and I cant figure out what's wrong with it.

see answer for the other question- I think the car has an aftermarked alarm that is going off, possibly connected to an autostart system- if you look under the dash you may see a black switch- if you shut it off, that would disconnect the autostart and alarm. otherwise, remove the equipment and you should be o.k.
