I have a 2006 Solara Convertible with 205k
miles.  Thankful it still seems to run/ drive
great. We took it to the shop and they said
$2k to fix, due to rain trough attached to top.
It started leaking through a couple holes in
the rain trough on each side where the seams
have worn out. We are in the midst of fixing
it. Put nylon patch, made for tents, finishing it
off with rubber silicone. Prayers It works so I
don’t have to get another car. Love my
Solara- had it since new, 2006.

As long as the mechanicals are working, it's not too unreasonable to replace a top yourself, they do sell the material as a kit. When you're at this kind of mileage, you just have to keep things patched together yourself, it's hard to justify spending 2K on a leaky top when the engine or transmission might go any day.
