what would make my dashboard gauges, turn signals, and battery indicator to stop working

Usually when i turn my car own, im able to see how much gas i have. now if i turn the car on without the engine running nothing come on. signal lights not working either, the radio lights doesn't come unless i turn the ignition switch backward. what could this be..
