Camry starts fine. Idel begins to drop and shuts off

2005 Camry would lag to start and other times
starts up fine. Yesterday went to start the car
and it wouldn’t start. Lights and radio all
worked. Hit the starter with a wrench and the
car started. I replaced the starter and car
turned on. Shortly after the car began to idle
lower and lower eventually shutting off.
Placed the E brake, presses the gas and the
car stays on. Released the gas and the car
shuts off. Took the battery to get checked and
they said the battery is in good condition. Any
suggestions?

Thanks. Cleaned the MAFS and idle air control valve. Car is now working. Thank you for the suggestion.
