I have a 2005 cavalier the altanator went bad to change the plug that goes down to the starter an I spliced the 2 wires up backwards an blew something I can't find out what I blew can anyone help with

I would say have blown a fuse or melted a wire.

I have a cavalier with a 2.2 engine and the coil pack module has went out 3 times within a year. what could be making this happen? 3 Answers

My 2004 chevy cavalier has a 2.2 motor in it and I have replaced the coil pack module 3 times now within the last year. new spark plugs also. Does anyone know why this would keep happening?

I have a 1994 chevrolet cavalier z24. I have had 3 transmissions put into my car since January, 2015. I am still having the same problem 3 months later. The transmission is slipping when I put the car from park into drive. It goes into neutral. Can this be caused by the inside gear shifter if the shifter is not connected properly to the transmission? I have a 94 cavalier rs 2.2 and when i start my car it idles really rough and the car will shake and yu can smell gas. It goes away when i drive away or push the accelerator. I replaced the 02 sensor air filter fuel filter air temp sensor. I replaced the plugs and wires with ACCEL and when i changed the the spark plugs had white powdery stuff on them. 3 Answers
