remove spark plug wires 2001 toyota camry

Hi desertpadre, Your spark plugs are actually recessed inside the valve cover. Follow the spark plug wire to the valve cover and pull gently on the connector until the wire pops off the spark plug. You may want to do this when the car has been sitting so the engine is cool to the touch. Good luck!
