Asked by Deborah Mar 28, 2015 at 08:10 AM about the 2000 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have had throttle body cleaned,
used fuel injection cleaner in system
mechanics found 3 codes with a
problem. All repaired. Still with
problem. Had just had water pump
installed when I bought it. Saw on
some website a sensor that causes
this problem can be damaged when
changing water pump?  Anyone
know which?

The sensor that can get damaged is the Crankshaft position sensor. But if the car was stalling out before the water pump replacement, that's not the issue.
