Gas smell in my 1997 Toyota Camry
Check engine light is on and I smell a heavy gas
smell once I turn it on and after I turn it off... I
Replaced a few parts they said it could be but the
smell still is there and the check engine light is still
on is there anything mainly I should have replaced
too see if that makes the smell go away and the
check engine light to go off ?
It was a P0401 code for insufficient exhaust gas recirculation flow detected
I found the leak also is there anyway you could tell me where it’s leaking from
Leaks from here also
The first one is the gas tank and the second one is the fuel line connector or whatever it’s leaking from both
Just got the new gas tank today I’m gonna replace the gas tank and see if that fixes the problem
hey im having the exact same problem code and all and I was wondering if changing the gas tank fixed it my cars currently in the shop cuz I couldn't figure it out and the mechanic told me It can be one of a few parts that needs to be switched i heard the EGR valve gets clogged sometimes so that can throw the p0401 code but idk
