Front main seal

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Need to change front main seal but i'm
stuck at the harmonic balancer. Not
sure what tool to use.

They make a special puller, is that what you're asking? Some parts stores loan pullers.

If you can't figure out how to remove the harmonic balancer you probably should seek help replacing the seal. Also the harmonic balancer to crankshaft bolt is not reusable on many vehicles and must be replaced. Do some research regarding reusing the bolt.

Yes the two pully pullers i had wouldn't work, had to get the other an drill the two holes out to get it off.
