How do I disassemble a door to replace the window?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I want to replace a broken passenger side front window.  The door latch assembly is giving me fits.  I am afraid I'll break the plastic cup that lies behind the latch handle.  Is there a special trick to releasing that part so the rest of disassembly can continue?
Thanks.

Suggest picking up either a Haynes manual, or making a friendly contact with one of the technicians at a local Toyota dealership. Most will be willing to talk to you and will give you tips that they have learned having done it for a living. Good luck!
