Rarely does anyone clean their fuel tank. Instead they replace the fuel filter on a regular basis. You can further increase your chances of cleaning the fuel by adding a secondary fuel filter somewhere after the original filter and the fuel rail/injectors. If you have bad injectors or if they get dirty often cleaning the fuel tank is not the problem. You may want to change the place that you buy your fuel. The cheaper the fuel the dirtier it will be. Hope this helps!
