Which temperature rating is better for a replacement themostat, 170 or 180?

I have a 1993 Toyota Camry with only 142K miles. Its been overheating after lately and my uncle and I have decided to replace the thermostat and the coolant temperature sensor to be on the safe side. Just wondering if a lower temperature rating would be better.

It requires 180, so that's what should be used!

Great! Thank you! Now another question. It was suggested to also replace the Temperature Gauge sensor, which is the middle of 3 sensors as you look toward the windshield(far left being the green Coolant Temperature sensor & far right being tiny vacuum tubing). Everytime I try to look up the part I only get pictures or links for the green sensor. Does it go by another name or is there a generic part number I can look up?
