Why my car can start up but nothing works
I have a 2005 Toyota Avalon I change and check the
battery, alternator, and the starter.. the car starts but
nothing inside works but the doors, the lights, the air, the
radio don't work, and I can't shfit it out of park... what
can be the problem.
There is a tool that you need if and when you disconnect the main power supply, it's called a preset saver, if you disconnect the battery the BCM looses the factory programming and the only place to get it back is the dealer, they have to reflash the unit to match the vehicles vin, usually runs about a hundred bucks.
Hi, I'm Carmen! The same thing happen to me. It was the fuse to you senor control module. Under the hood. It's a mini fuse. $3 bucks. Good luck.
