Accessing wiper linkage.

Asked by Guru9NCNVK Jan 26, 2022 at 03:45 PM about the 1997 Toyota Avalon 4 Dr XL Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The right side wiper linkage bushing either has either broken or disconnected.
How do I access it since it's behind the firewall. The cutouts are too small to
even get a look at let alone have room to work.

Can you remove the whole assembly from the other side of the vehicle? To replace the bushing my guess is you have to remove the assembly.
