power steering leak and e brake light

today i filled my power steering reservoir up all the way because it was
making the winding sound but my steering was not hard to steer.Is that the
pump going bad or its a leaky hose?If its a leak can i put lucus stop leak in it
because my car has 236k mile and im not gonna keep putting a bunch of
money in a old car.1more thing.I remember some years ago i got my rear
brakes changed and my mech at the time showed me i need parking brake
shoes.So i stop using it for a long time so the other day i got my oil changed
and i had to use my ebrake so now i have a brake light that comes on and
goes off for a minute then comes back on.Do i need to change the ebrake
shoe for the light to go off?

Leaking power steering hoses can't be fixed that way they need replaced. Usually a flashing brake warning light is low fluid, check the brake fluid lid as you just had it serviced and they may have messed it up or didn't get it on right, but be warned that Asian vehicles also tie in low voltage with the brake light to get your attention, so you may also have charging or pending battery issues. And this old wiring can also enter into it.
