'92 4runner sr5. Should I buy one?

Friend of a friend is selling for $1200. Haven't seen it yet. Has a v6 and automatic. They say it's rusty but it runs.
What questions should I get answers for to avoid problems.

if it's rusti and runs don't get it it is only V6 engine and just drinks fuel and gives your no power

Thanks. I got a great deal on a Ford Windstar for $500. Unbelievable good car for the money. I'm happy.
